The 1000’s are precision engineered high-end woofers that will compliment any system, delivering full low end with amazing energy. They are sound quality tuned subs designed for use within a 150-400 watt power band. They start with a powerful shorting ring equipped motor using a 50mm thick magnet section, CnC machined steel plates with a 10mm deep, highly focused magnet gap.The high energy motor drives a lightweight 2 inch diameter coil, with a dual split 4 layer former design, that eliminates eddy current formation and subsequent distortions. The cone is a rigid non-pressed matrix with a water resistant coating connected to an EROM profile surround.The multi-layer suspensions are durable and tuned to work well in sealed and small ported enclosures.<br><br> The 1000 Series comes standard with an oversized dry finish black composite dust cap, red logo, and treated pulp cone, but it can be optioned out with alternative composite dust caps, composite cones, powder coated frames, supercharging, and a multitude of logo options to give your sub a personalized look and/or added performance for a specific application.
