The SX4.1000BT is a multi-channel amplifier adds next generation functionality to DD’s IPX67 waterproof-rated amplifier line by eliminating the need for a headunit with the integration of wireless streaming input and system control, perfect for simple setup in adventure setups, like off-road vehicles and boats. This amplifier delivers 1,000 total watts across four channels, giving you the power to push your audio output high enough to cut through, and compete with, the surrounding noise in virtually any environment. It can be wired at 4 x 250, 2 x 500, or as a three channel, with 2 x 250 watts of robust output to the mids and highs and an additional 500 watts dedicated to the low-end of a subwoofer. Additionally, higher power, multi-amp systems can be installed by daisy chaining more amplifiers via the integrated RCA line output.The enhanced fortitude of SX amps are achieved through the integration of cast aluminum end panels, aluminum bottom panels and preamp controls with protective plexi covers. All this ensures the IPX67 waterproof-rated amps are a powerful and highly versatile solution for rugged duty system designs. The SX Series is the adventurous counterpart to DD AUDIO’s well established SS Series, and both have received major component upgrades sourced from world renowned brands, for a transformation that is not only tangible, but audibly unequivocal. These include higher current mosfets and output devices, increased power capacitors, a more powerful transformer, plus improved cooling and PCB with twice the thermal capability. State of the art upgrades like these, combined with DD AUDIO’s uncompromised high speed, class D design and industry defying heat sink, all result in a high-end mini amp with more power and better sound quality with an incredibly compact footprint.
